Watch out for these guys quoting you one price, charging you a higher price afterward on your visa, then claiming "it was obviously a typo and it should have been a higher charge". They refuse to honour the quoted price we received in an email and charged us 400% higher price. Be careful #crooks
We just had a wedding at Lily Lake and I couldnt be more disappointed with the staff. Everything was setup at the very last minute, the floors were dirty, there were mouse droppings everywhere, the sprinkler system had no water in it in case of fire and it smelt like natural gas everywhere. Every time we brought something up to Kathy (the owner), she just shrugged her shoulders and basically told us to get over it. Also, they offer a rental house if you want. Basically a big house with lots of bedrooms. DONT stay there! It was a complete mess, broken windows, unsafe stairs, broken deck, taps that didnt work, silverware that was purchased and still in all of its packaging... honestly, the build is a death trap. All in all, I would not recommend this place for any kind of event or visit. Its a mess and completely unsafe. If a health inspector walked into their building, it would be shut down instantly.
My husband and I got married at Lily Lake Village Resort just this past weekend. The service was phenomal, and the staff were very accommodating. All of our guests had positive feedback and the meal was to die for. Louise set our whole reception room and made it stunning and beautiful. Kudos to her! I know that on it's own was alot of work.Kathy was a great manager and helped us out for last minute arrivals and changes during late hours the night before our wedding. Greg made sure to personally help us before and on our day to make sure everything was perfect. He was there for anything we needed and made it was done quickly and easily. Like I said, our day was perfect. We stayed in the log room which had a jacuzzi suite. The room was large and kept clean and provided tons of room for preparations. I would recommend Lily Lake to anyone.
I recently attended a wedding at this resort and the food was delicious. The mashed potatoes were amazing and received many compliments. The kids were even going back up for seconds of vegetables! The late night snack of wings and pizza were also very tasty. We stayed in the Cuddle Inn and were very satisfied, it was very clean and warm. I will say that some of the other buildings could use some TLC and I'm sure that in due time it will happen.The one down side to our experience is that the hard alcohol beverages were blatantly watered down. For the price you were paying for drink tickets it was very disappointing.
